Steps that have been/are being implemented by DMAS, examples: Use of Plastic asphalt, WWTP recycling, Green Office, use of EVs for operations.

• The Company has an internal Water Management that is managed independently. Currently, the Company has built a Recycle WTP to support the government’s ‘Zero Run Off Water Discharge’ programme.
• The Company has used asphalt using High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)  plastic waste in several areas. During 2024, the Company has been implemented in 12 km stretch, using 16 tonnes of plastic waste and has successfully reduced carbon emissions by 86.33 tonnes.
• Since 2022, the Company has used electric vehicles as operational vehicles and patrol vehicles with total 20 units of electric motorcycles and 12 units of electric cars.
• We also support green energy by having the international certification Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) from PLN.
• The Company has used solar panels at several areas, namely Street Lighting (PJU), Marketing Office & Annex Building, WTP & WWTP, Security & Command Centre.

• The Company also manages waste that can be produced into:

  • Compost, used as plant fertiliser, farmed insects which is  used as catfish feed.

  • RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel), used as biomass fuel delivered to cement factories.
