CIKARANG, February 4, 2022 – Developer of Kota Deltamas modern integrated township, PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (ticker code: DMAS), achieved marketing sales of Rp1.76 trilion. This result was supported by a 62.5 hectare industrial land sales.
Director and Corporate Secretary of the Company, Tondy Suwanto, says that 2021 was a solid year, but also challenging for industrial land sales. “At the beginning of 2021, although still in the midst of a pandemic situation, industrial land inquiries were quite high, particularly inquiries from data center sector,” said Tondy Suwanto. “However, then we were hit by the second wave of the pandemic in the second semester, which was even more severe than before, and led to tighter travelling restriction, both domestic and international, and resulted in delays of some industrial land sales and purchase transactions,” said Tondy Suwanto.
Tondy Suwanto further says that in the midst of challenges due to the 2021 pandemic situation and delays in several land sales and purchase transactions, the Company was still able to achieve marketing sales of Rp. 1.76 trillion, or about 88% of the Company’s marketing sales target of Rp. 2 trillion. Tondy Suwanto further adds that several pending industrial land sale and purchase transactions will be completed in 2022. “Despite the pending processes due to the travelling restrictions in 2021, we believe that those transactions can be completed in 2022,” said Tondy Suwanto.
The automotive sector and the data center sector were the main contributors to the Company’s 62.5 hectares of industrial land sales. “Along with increasing industrial land demand from data center players, the Company has prepared a special zone that supports activities from the data center industry and similar industries,” said Tondy Suwanto.
In addition to industrial estate development, the Company is also developing its residential and commercial areas. In 2021, a residential lot sale provided a solid contribution to the Company’s marketing sales, despite sales derived from landed house products from Naraya Park cluster and other clusters. Furthermore, the Company also sold commercial lots to business owners which will improve the social life dynamics of its residents, visitors, and workers in the Kota Deltamas area.
Going forward, the Company will continue to develop its industrial estate, residential estate, and commercial estate to achieve the Company’s long-term mission in developing Kota Deltamas as a modern and eco-friendly integrated township and as a regional hub at east of Jakarta, as well as to continue to increase added value for all stakeholders.
