PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk’s Net Profit More Than Doubles in the First Semester of 2022
CIKARANG, August 4, 2022 –PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk and Subsidiary (“the Company”), property developer of modern integrated industrial township of Kota Deltamas, recorded net profit of Rp660 billion in the first half of 2022, or grew by 128.7% from the net profit in the first semester of 2021 of Rp289 billion.
In the first half of 2022, the Company recorded revenues of Rp1.07 trillion, or 84.0% higher than the revenues in the first half of 2021 of Rp580 billion.
From the total revenues, industrial segment contributed the most with revenue amount of Rp859 billion or around 80,5% from the total revenues, followed by commercial segment with revenue amount of Rp176 billion or 16.5% from the total revenues and residential segment with revenue of Rp23 billion or 2.1% from total revenues. Furthermore, revenue contributions from hotel and rental segments to the total revenues are 0.4% and 0.4% respectively.
“Data center sector remains to be the main contributor to the industrial land sales that were recorded as the Company’s revenues in the first half of 2022,” said Tondy Suwanto, Director and Corporate Secretary of the Company.
The Company’s gross profit grew by 125.6% from Rp335 billion in the first semester of 2021 to Rp755 billion in the first semester of 2022. Tondy Suwanto explained that the gross profit margin experienced a solid increase in the first semester of 2022 compared to the same period in the previous year. “The Company’s gross profit margin increased from 57.7% in the first semester of 2021 to 70.8% in the first semester of 2022,” said Tondy Suwanto.
In line with the gross profit growth, operating profit of the Company grew by 155.7% to Rp652 billion in the first semester of 2022 compared to Rp255 billion in the same period of the previous year. The operating profit margin increased to 61.1% in the first semester of this year in comparison to the operating profit margin in the first semester of last year of 44.0%.
The Company booked net profit in the first semester of 2022 of Rp660 billion, or grew by 128.7% compared to net profit in the same period in the previous year of Rp289 billion. Meanwhile, net profit margin was recorded at 61.9%, higher than the net profit margin in the same period in 2021 of 49.8%.
From a fundamental perspective, total assets of the Company as of June 30, 2022 was Rp6.76 trillion, increased by Rp650 billion or 10.6% in comparison to total assets of the Company as of December 31, 2021 of Rp6.11
trillion, whereby the hike was mainly due to increasing cash and cash equivalent. Cash and cash equivalent position as of June 30, 2022 was Rp1.15 trillion, increased by Rp553 billion or 92.3% in comparison to cash and cash equivalent position as of December 31, 2021 of Rp599 billion.
Meanwhile, total liabilities of the Company as of June 30, 2022 was recorded at Rp872 billion, which was Rp109 billion or 14.4% higher than total liabilities of the Company as of December 31, 2021 of Rp763 billion. Increase of total liabilities was mainly due to increase of contract liabilities, both current and non–current, of Rp163 billion or around 33,2%. Total equities (net) as of June 30, 2022 increased around 10.1% to Rp5.89 trillion compared to the total equities (net) as of December 31, 2021 of Rp5.35 trillion.
The Company does not have any debt. With healthy net cash position, the Company strives to develop Kota Deltamas to realize Kota Deltamas as an integrated township at east of Jakarta by combining industrial, commercial, and residential estates.
