DMAS’s Net Profit in the First Nine Months of 2022 Increased by 20.9%
CIKARANG, October 27, 2022 –PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk and Subsidiary (“the Company”), property developer of Kota Deltamas integrated township, booked a positive net profit growth in the first nine month period of 2022.
The Company recorded revenues of Rp1.26 trillion in the first nine months of 2022, slightly lower than the Company’s revenues in the first nine months of 2021 of Rp1.31 trillion. However, on the other hand, the net profit of the Company in the first nine months of 2022 increased by 20.9% to Rp768 billion from the net profit in the same period in 2021 of Rp635 billion.
Revenues from industrial segment in the first nine month of 2022 contributed the most to the Company’s revenues, amounting to Rp1.03 trillion or around 82.1% of the Company’s total revenues. “Most of the Company’s revenue in the first nine months of 2022 came from the industrial land sales, especially to the data center sector,” said Tondy Suwanto, Director and Corporate Secretary of the Company.
In addition to the revenue from the industrial segment, the commercial segment contributed Rp176 billion to the total revenues, or 14.0% of the total revenues. Furthermore, the contributions from the residential, hotel and rental segments to the total revenues were 2.6%, 0.6%, and 0.6%, respectively.
Despite the lower revenues compared to the same period in the previous year, the Company recorded a gross profit of Rp882 billion in the first nine months of 2022, or 19.2% higher than the gross profit in the same period in the previous year of Rp740 billion. “The Company’s gross profit margin increased from 56.6% in the first nine months of 2021 to 70.2% in the first nine months of 2022,” said Tondy Suwanto.
The Company booked operating profit of Rp731 billion, increased by 23.1% if compared to the operating profit in the same period of the previous year of Rp593 billion. Therefore, the operating profit margin of the Company in the first nine months of 2022 was 58.2%, higher than the operating profit in the same period of the previous year of 45.4%.
Finally, the Company booked net profit of Rp768 billion, or grew by 20.9% compared to the net profit in first nine months of 2021 of Rp635 billion. Net profit margin is recorded at 61.1%, higher than the net profit margin of the same period last year of 48.5%.
From the fundamental side, total assets of the Company as of September 30, 2022 was Rp6.88 trillion, higher by Rp762 billion, or 12.5% compared to the total assets of the Company as of December 31, 2021 of Rp6.11 trillion. Increase of total assets was mostly due to increase of cash and cash equivalent.
Cash and cash equivalent of the Company as of September 30, 2022 was Rp1.17 trillion, increased by Rp571 billion or 95.3% compared to the cash and cash equivalent position as of December 31, 2021 of Rp599 billion.
Total liabilities of the Company as of September 30, 2022 was Rp877 billion, higher by Rp114 billion or 15.0% than the total liabilities of the Company as of December 31, 2021 of Rp763 billion. Total equities (net) as of September 30, 2022 increased by Rp648 billion or 12.1% to Rp6.00 trillion in comparison with the total equities (net) as of December 31, 2021 of Rp5.35 trillion.
The Company does not have any debt. With healthy net cash position, the Company strives to develop Kota Deltamas to realize Kota Deltamas as an integrated township at east of Jakarta by combining industrial, commercial, and residential estates.
