PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk Booked Net Profit of Rp1.35 trillion in 2020
ARANG, March 31, 2021 – Today PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk and Subsidary (“the Company”) is announcing its audited Financial
Statements for the period of December 31, 2020.
The Company recorded net profit of Rp1.35 trillion in 2020, grew by 1.0% compared to the net profit of 2019 of Rp1.33 trillion. From the revenues side, the Company obtained revenues of Rp2.63 trillion in 2020, relatively stable compared to the revenues in 2019 of Rp2.65 trillion.
Director of PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk, Tondy Suwanto, revealed that the Company managed to seize the opportunities from the industrial land demands in 2020. “The Company achieved solid revenues and net profit in 2020, whereby 94.1% of the revenues were contributed from industrial land sales,” said Tondy Suwanto. “In 2020 alone, we achieve marketing sales of Rp2.39 trillion, 19% above our target of Rp2 trillion. Some of the marketing sales have been recognized as
revenues in 2020, as reflected in the financial statements,” said him.
The Company’s revenues in 2020 were dominated by the industrial segment, with contribution reaching Rp2.48 billion or 94.1% of the total revenues for the year. Other business segments, namely commercial, residential, hotel and rental segments,
contributed 3.0%, 2.0%, 0.5% and 0.3% respectively to the total revenues in 2020.
The Company booked gross profit of Rp1.62 trillion in 2020, grew by 8.9% compared to 2019 gross profit of Rp1.48 trillion. Gross profit margin increased from 56.0% in 2019 to 61.4% in 2020. Increasing gross profit margin was mostly due to increasing average selling price of industrial land in 2020 compared to the previous year.
In operating profit level, the Company booked operating profit of Rp1.32 trillion, or grew by 7.1% compared to the operating profit of the preceding year of Rp1.23 trillion. Operating profit margin in 2020 was 50.3%, higher than 2019 operating profit margin of 46.6%. Increasing operating profit margin was in line with increasing gross profit margin.
The Company booked profit before tax of Rp1.36 trillion, or grew by 0.8% compared to profit before tax in the preceding year of Rp1.35 trillion. Profit before tax margin increased from 51.0% in 2019 to 51.8 % in 2020.
The Company booked net profit of Rp1.35 trillion, or grew by 1.0% compared to 2019 net profit of Rp1.33 trillion. Net profit
margin increased from 50.4% in 2019 to 51.3% in 2020.
From the fundamental side, total assets of the Company as of December 31, 2020 was Rp6.75 trillion, Rp865 billion or 11.4% lower than total assets of the Company as of December 31, 2019 of Rp7.62 trillion. This was mostly due to decrease in account receivables of Rp1.05 trillion and decrease in inventories of Rp668 billion, despite increasing cash and cash equivalent of Rp708 billion.
Net cash position of the Company as of December 31, 2020 was Rp1.38 trillion, increased by Rp708 billion or 106.2% compared to 2019 of Rp667 billion. During 2020 alone, the Company distributed cash dividend to its shareholders of Rp2.22 trillion.
The Company does not have any debt. With the current cash position, the Company will fund is operational and investing activities to achieve optimum performance. The Company strives to develop Kota Deltamas to realize Kota Deltamas as an integrated township at east of Jakarta by combining industrial, residential, and commercial estates.
